1. Club Membership

All participants must be registered in our booking system before attending.
Membership fees become payable following the introductory period and must be received by bank transfer before the participant’s second session.
A Direct Debit must then be set up for the agreed monthly membership fee.
Membership fees are calculated over 44 weeks for recreational groups and 48 weeks for squad groups, with the annual cost divided into 12 equal monthly payments. Payments are therefore due every month, including August, regardless of the number of sessions held during that month.
The annual membership fee is payable upon enrolment and runs until 30th September each year. This includes membership of Severn Gymnastics & Trampoline Club together with British Gymnastics membership and insurance.
Membership is completed online. By completing your membership registration, you agree to these Terms & Conditions together with the club’s other policies. If you do not agree, please contact the club within 7 days of registration.
If a gymnast’s training hours increase or decrease during the year, membership fees will be adjusted accordingly. Any changes to the Direct Debit should take effect from the following month, with any outstanding balance payable by bank transfer or card payment where required.
The club reserves the right to amend membership fees by giving at least two months’ notice.

Membership may be suspended at the discretion of the club, for example due to injury or long-term illness. Supporting evidence may be requested where appropriate.
Membership may be cancelled by giving one month’s written notice. All fees due during the notice period remain payable, and participants may continue attending sessions until their cancellation date.
Failure to pay membership fees does not constitute cancellation. Outstanding fees may be invoiced together with any applicable administration charges.
Missed sessions are non-refundable.
If a session is cancelled by the club, an alternative session will normally be provided on another day or during a holiday period.

If membership payments fall into arrears, an administration charge of £20 per month may be applied.
If you experience difficulty making payments, please contact the club as soon as possible. Where appropriate, payment plans or adjustments to sessions may be agreed at the club’s discretion.
The club reserves the right to terminate membership immediately, without refund, where there is persistent non-payment of fees, breaches of health and safety requirements, or behaviour by a gymnast or parent/guardian that is considered disruptive or contrary to the club’s Code of Conduct.

Gymnasts must follow coach instructions at all times.
Wear suitable kit, including a leotard or fitted sportswear, with hair tied back and jewellery removed. Grip socks must be worn for trampoline sessions where required.
Parents or guardians must inform the club of any relevant medical conditions during registration and keep these details up to date.
The club reserves the right to exclude or remove any participant whose behaviour is unsafe, disruptive or contrary to the club’s Code of Conduct.

Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring children are collected promptly at the end of each session.
Parent viewing is available only at designated times, where permitted by the club.
Gymnastics and trampolining are physical activities that carry an inherent risk of injury. Participation is undertaken at the participant’s own risk.

Photography or filming within the gym is not permitted without prior permission from the club, in accordance with our safeguarding policies.
The club may take official photographs or videos for promotional purposes where appropriate consent has been obtained from parents or guardians.

Photographs taken at Severn Gymnastics & Trampoline Club events, competitions and activities may be made available for purchase through the club website.
Access to competition photo galleries may be protected by a password provided by the club.
Purchased digital photographs are licensed for personal, non-commercial use only and must not be copied, redistributed, resold or used commercially without prior written permission.
Preview images may contain watermarks. Watermarks are removed only from purchased digital downloads.
Due to the nature of digital products, purchases are non-refundable once the download has been made available, except where required by applicable consumer law.
Please ensure you have selected the correct photographs before completing your purchase.
If you experience any issues accessing or downloading your purchased images, please contact the club and we will be happy to assist.
